Phoebe has joined Evolution Partners as a Summer 2020 Analyst.
She has just completed her 2nd year at the University of Oxford studying Philosophy and Modern Greek. There, she co-founded the first new student newspaper in 30 years, The Oxford Blue. During her 6 months as MD, her paper published 500 articles by 300 writers, had 200k website views, hit national headlines 30 times, and was shortlisted for 3 national awards. She is also designing next year’s program for OX1 Incubator - a student-led startup accelerator.
Phoebe initially dabbled in Medicine at the University of York before swerving towards a passion for languages and international business. During her gap year, she worked as a recruitment consultant in finance for private equity-backed businesses. She then interned at edtech startup Zzish where she organised a networking event at Google HQ, and coordinated a pre-series A round of investment on Crowdcube. She is incredibly excited about joining Evolution Partners and can’t wait to make an impact.
