It is as important as ever to look after our mental wellbeing. According to research conducted by the Mental Health Foundation, 74% of UK adults ‘have felt so stressed at some point over the last year they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope’.
April is Stress Awareness Month, which reminds us to pause and reflect on our own mental wellbeing and the ways in which we can support ourselves and those around us.
This year’s theme is ‘Regaining Connectivity, Certainty and Control’. Feeling connected, informed and in control at work is important for employee wellbeing and engagement. At Evolution Partners, we want to encourage our team and others to have conversations about stress and mental health as this is key to building a workplace in which employees feel supported.
