With Cop26 coming to an end and nations making climate commitments, the time is ripe for a discussion on the impact corporations have on the environment. Companies account for nearly a fifth of global CO2 emissions which is why any conversation on climate pledges is incomplete without a discussion about corporate environmental responsibility.

Although we are a small firm, Evolution Partners has always sought to ensure that our success does not come at the expense of the environment. In March 2020, we created this ESG Roadmap to ensure that we stay on track in remaining green and sustainable as an organisation. We pledged to become carbon negative and cut our emissions by 150% by the end of 2021, and through initiatives such as investing in natural carbon sinks, we have succeeded in meeting our goals well before the deadline that we had set for ourselves.

Evolution Partners believes that now is the time to further embed sustainability into our culture as a firm and we plan to continue to work towards this goal by ensuring we remain carbon negative and by investing in funds that are dedicated to making a positive environmental impact.
